Emotional intelligence is a huge factor for management and leadership. I’ve reported to both men and women over the years and in my opinion, the women had stronger emotional intelligence than the men. They had better people management skills. They were more empathetic and self-aware, two critical skills required for managing people. This leaves me to beg the question, are women naturally better people managers than men? Do they have the biologic make up that gives them the upper hand with emotional intelligence?
